The HOPE (Healthcare Opportunity Pathways for Employment) Project provides support and resources for healthcare facilities committed to establishing Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Our mission is to address the workforce needs of the healthcare industry and promote economic growth and opportunity in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
Registered apprenticeships follow a formal, well-defined curriculum that combines practical, hands-on experience with classroom instruction. They provide a skills-based education that prepares them for good-paying jobs.
These programs are designed and implemented in collaboration with employers and industry experts, ensuring the training is relevant to real-world job requirements and helping employers recruit, build, and retain a highly skilled workforce.
After completing a registered apprenticeship program, 90% of apprentices continue employment. Case studies has shown that these programs Improve profitability and positive impact on employer's bottom line
